This policy describes how DedicationCard works.

Your dedication stays in the link

Your recipient name, signature, message and selected music link are processed in your browser. This tool does not upload them to a server or save them in a server database.

A dedication link contains those details in the part after the # character, called the URL fragment. That fragment is not included in the browser’s HTTP request to our hosting server. It is not encrypted: anyone with the complete link can read the dedication. The chat or email service you use to share it receives what you choose to send.

Music search sends a request to Apple

When you use the search box, your search terms are sent to Apple’s public iTunes Search API to retrieve songs from its US catalog. Apple receives that request and normal connection information such as your IP address. Your dedication message is not included in the search request. Search results are supplied by Apple.

When you open a music link, you visit the music service. Its own privacy policy and playback requirements apply.

Hosting and browser storage

Cloudflare hosts this site and may process connection and request information, including IP addresses, requested paths and browser information, to deliver and protect it. DedicationCard has no user accounts or saved dedication history, and does not add advertising or analytics trackers. Your browser may retain browsing history and cached files.

Future advertising

We plan to place third-party advertising on this site in the future. No third-party advertising is currently installed. We will update this policy before introducing it.
